Comentarios: En general ha estado buena la experiencia. Cuando uno opta por usar Bitbucket es porque es porque es una opción buenísima para muchos proyectos de código abierto.

Puntos a favor:

Te permite detectar errores y corregirlos. Tanto e la etapa inicial del ciclo de desarrollo, lo que resulta en software mas robusto.

Contras:

Menos compatible con lenguajes específicos en comparación con otras plataformas.

Una herramienta crucial para el desarrollo de software e integracion con Jira

Comentarios: Excelente para un control de versiones, trabajo colaborativo y seguimiento en paralelo de forma transparente con proyectos en Jira.

Puntos a favor:

Lo que mas me ha gustado es su integracion nativa con Jira software, facilita el proceso de desarrollo bastante y se adapta totalmente a la filosofia agil del producto.

Contras:

Que ademas de su integracion con Jira Software nativa, no innova mucho mas que otras herramientas que ofrecen lo mismo, su unico diferenciador fuerte es su integracion.

BitBucket otra opcion a Github

Comentarios: La he utilizado principalmente como controlador de versiones en mi trabajo para repositorios privados y hasta el día de hoy no he tenido ningún problema con la herramienta

Puntos a favor:

Al ser un entorno visual es muy intuitivo, tiene una excelente integración con las demás herramientas Attlassian como Trello, y se puede utilizar para builds en CD/CI de manera sencilla

Contras:

En general es muy buena herramienta , pero de pronto una contra podría ser fu falta o no fácil integración con otras herramientas

Buen gestor de versiones

Puntos a favor:

Una interfaz muy limpia y eficaz para subir las nuevas versiones a la nube

Contras:

Al principio puede ser tedioso entender el funcionamiento

todo el control de mis repositorios

Comentarios: No hemos tenido inconvenientes con esta herramienta, siempre tenemos todo respaldado y el control de permisos para los usuarios ayuda mucho para que solo los administradores puedan hacer ciertas acciones de mas cuidado

Puntos a favor:

bitbucket es super facil de administrar, nos dedicamos a el desarrollo de software y es basico tener una herramienta para el control de cambios de nuestros scripts, todo lo trabajamos con git y bitbucket es el mejor repositorio que hemos enocntrado para lograr la buena administracion

Contras:

No hemos tenido inconvenientes con esta herramienta, siempre tenemos todo respaldado y el control de permisos para los usuarios ayuda mucho para que solo los administradores puedan hacer ciertas acciones de mas cuidado

La mejor alternativa a GitHub con rollback a solo unos cuantos clics

Muy integrable con otros herramientas, tales como gestores de proyectos, soluciones de comunicación de equipo.

Contras:

Sólo posee cliente Windows y Mac, no posee soporte oficial para Linux.

Una alternativa menos conocida para gestionar tus repositorios

Comentarios: Mi experiencia con Bitbucket es buena. Tengo unos cuantos repositorios para poder estar al día con esta herramienta.

Puntos a favor:

Lo que mas me gusta es su aplicacion de escritorio para Windows. Puedes gestionar tus repositorios de forma visual.

Contras:

En general está bien la herramienta, pero si tengo que mencionar algo sería tener más integraciones con otras herraminetas.

Gestion de codigo para proyectos personales

Puntos a favor:

Dentro de la red atalasian, buena aplicacion de escritorio para los que no nos manejamos con la cmd

Contras:

Repositorios privados, gestion de projectos a traves de trello no en el propio entorno

Un gestor de código

Comentarios: En general es agradable y recomiendo su uso.

Puntos a favor:

Basado en Git, bitbucket permite mergear o generar pull request y hacer seguimiento de versiones de manera sencilla.

Contras:

Al ser entorno visual, algunas acciones son más lentas que si usasemos la consola de comandos de Git.

An alternative for the Atlassian environment

Comentarios: It was very easy to set up. I had the chance to propose this tool to my development team, and it helps and gets to its full potential if you are using other Atlassian tools.

Puntos a favor:

What I liked the most about using Bitbucket was the possibility of interconnecting everything from JIRA and Confluence directly and seamlessly to my repositories. This helped my team not only to save time but also to keep track of everything happening around our development cycle in a way that felt natural.

Contras:

The interface tries to differentiate from GitHub a lot, and sometimes it feels it is not something you need to innovate into; some things are just the way they are. I found the project->repository structure confusing, and navigating through them wasn't easy.

Best source codes versioning control platform for organizations.

Comentarios: It is a good product for even small business and jira integration is very smooth,very competitive price in market, there are some improvement required support in down times

Easy to version source codes. We can ensure maximum protection for our valuable source codes. Can set access permissions for repositories. We can easily review source codes

Contras:

When the service is down, it will remain down for more than 1 or 2 hours. Unable to archive repositories.

The agile way to go with git

Comentarios: It’s nice, I think it is more organized and it works better in an organizational environment, but maybe for personal projects it’s not the best option

Puntos a favor:

I think it’s great for the integration with Jira, so it’s really useful to integrate in an agile team

Contras:

I think the only con that I can see is that there is not so many community out there as in other platforms as github and that they don’t have the dark mode

Puntos a favor:

Easy learning curve, even for someone who is new to DEVOPS concept

Contras:

There is a need to make easy configuration of dashboard. One gets hang of it only after using it for a while.

Comentarios: We have all of our pipelines in Bitbucket – PRs gets merged to dev and when verified by the team, things do get pushed forward to production environments. We also handle our company website's code in Bitbucket so it is easy to pull the code to VSCode for editing.

Puntos a favor:

Bitbucket holds everything you would need for a development team. Having code versioning and branches in Bitbucket makes things organised and professional. The lower tier Bitbucket is good bang for your bucks, but the premium holds for example privacy/security settings that you might consider using, especially if you are aiming for privacy/security certificates.

Contras:

As quite often, Atlassian's products are somewhat hard to start with, but when you get to know their ways of thinking, everything is quite straight forward – and to be honest, their products are being developed with UX in mind these days.

An application that has all the support and integration with Atlassian

Comentarios: I remember that I started with Bitbucket because to start with repositories, it offered me more than the others at zero cost.Then, after starting to work more intensely and manage projects, I opted for the Atlassian suite. I had already been using Trello for a long time and in another company I used Jira for incidents, and I also felt comfortable with these applications, so that I didn't change.

Puntos a favor:

Probably the integration with the complete Atlassian suite is what attracts me the most, working with Jira, Trello, Confluence and being able to solve problems from a support or customer service common to all these applications, greatly influences the decision to work with Bitbucket.

Contras:

Well, there are two clear competitors that take the majority of the repositories, but they are not mutually exclusive, you can use another of them, perhaps better in some aspects, while still taking advantage of the integration with the other applications.

Comentarios: Because of how integrated BitBucket is, it's not a great standalone solution. So if you're not in the market for a complete suite of project management tools, you might want to use something else.

Comentarios: Positive experience, with BitBucket the development processes are more standardized and easy to implement and follow.

The integration with Jira is one of our favourite BitBucket features. The UI is always clear and allows for full configuration of rules in order to approve the PR. The branching model configuration is also easy and very user friendly.

Contras:

When managing more workspaces the UI gives by default the latest viewed workspace, except for the personal workspaces. This could be confusing at first but it's a minor issue an user can get used to.

Bitbucket completes Atlassian ecosystem

Comentarios: My overall experience is good, it integrates well with jira and my client likes it.

Puntos a favor:

It completes all the DEVOPS Atlassian ecosystem, you have a option for server or sas version and you also have a API in order to implement a lot of extensions or inderactions with the repository.

Contras:

It must implement stuff like Github and Gitlab in order to be more competitive.

Small but big

Comentarios: Over all experience was great. We still use the product today.

Puntos a favor:

The sand box and the dev ops pipe lines allows you to build carpentmalize and collobaraborte through jira with clients and our team.

Contras:

The most difficult part was authentication through a shell. It was complex and caused us some lag time.

Could be better

It helps to save the code to the repository. The amazing feature it has it it could be integrated with project management tools such as Jira, Also one could create a issue in BItbucket and link it with jira which saves a lot of time and helps to track the status of the ongoing project.

Contras:

The user interface could be better since it is very hard to navigate. It does not show what changes the developer made while creating a pull request.
