ReviewStudio review

Comentarios: For a company the small size of ours, ReviewStudio works great. It's simple, effective and a good value for what it offers. We use it everyday and saves us a lot of time and moneycompared to the old way of routing physical prints of each file.

Puntos a favor:

Review Studio is easy to use in both submitting files for review and for others to markup issues with the files. Workflows are easy to setup for various employees to review only certain file based on their particular roles and responsibilities.

Contras:

Files preview at a small size on screen and need to be zoomed in to read type and analyze graphics. This has to be done incependently for each page unfrtunately and slows the process down. The ability to turn off the color channels of a PDF file independantly would be a big plus for those in the print industry.

Having all the feedback and uploaded references in one easy to access place online is crucial for us. It helps keep accountability on both artists and clients. Also, we prefer to support Canadian businesses.

Contras:

Separating Internal and External comments would be nice. Pricing has increased over the years.

Great Software with one Flaw

Comentarios: All and all its a great software at a great price point.

It does exactly what we need it to do. Go through a approval and check process for all artwork.

Contras:

If something is rejected in a workflow, the work flow ends there and there is no way of creating an alternate workflow for the rejection process.

Sometimes there is a slight lag in loading of the files.

Consolidation of reviews instead of email chains that can become lost or splintered, and can bloat your account with attachments. Plus getting an official signoff and proof of review input.

Contras:

The fact that it lacks a way to get feedback on a live website is the biggest dislike for us. Uploading HTML code is not a viable option as we develop on WordPress most of the time. We have had to pick up a Userback account to fill that gap.

Comentarios: We love it and will continue to use it and we have found we may implement it in teams beyond the visualization team.

Contras:

Checking on comments away from a computer can be a bit tedious. An app or better UI for remote checking of comments would be nice.

Razones para cambiar a ReviewStudio: Stuart was convincing. We like that they’re open to suggestions. The ui is simple, but feature packed.

Amazing way to get client feedback of media before publish

Comentarios: It gives me a way to get feedback and redmarks on 3D renderings and video from my clients or other designers working on the project all in one place. It is simple and very effective.

Puntos a favor:

The best part is how I can get feedback and markups from as many people as I want on the same project and everyone can see each others comments on graphic design, 3D, or videos, and it's very intuitive and time saving.

Contras:

The only thing I don't like is it used to be open to anyone to have permission to participate by default but in the last update it's more locked down and I have to change the permission but I'm guessing that is due to companies being more security minded than what I have to deal with.

ReviewStudio makes it really easy for our clients to leave their feedback in one place and directly related to specific areas of our design work. Without it, we received feedback via email, in Word docs, and generally all over the place.

Contras:

Some of our clients have a higher barrier to entry and feel hesitant to try a new tool, or find the features confusing at first.

ReviewStudio is fantastic

Comentarios: Highly recommend and the staff there is great. I beta tested multiple versions and every time I ask for a new feature they are quick to reply and update, this is something you don't see very much these days.

Puntos a favor:

My company has been using this product for many years. The ability to review still renderings, photographs, videos and 360 images is a very integral part of our workflow and our clients find it very easy to use. Multiple versions, the compare tool, markup tools and ability to attach files to comments is really great.

Contras:

I think the only con is that the mobile version of it isn't nearly as easy as on desktop / laptop. Clients will often leave blank comments or strange lines on the review before realizing they should do it on the computer.

Forget the PDF comments - get ReviewStudio!

Comentarios: ReviewStudio is my go-to for getting our internal clients to review documents, flyers, brochures, video, etc. It is great!

It is easy and quick to upload a file and get a link for reviewing. All of the client’s comments are in one place, no matter how many people review the file. That means just ONE VERSION of a file with all the comments in one place. No more reconciling comments from different sources!

Contras:

It can take a little time for new users to understand how to leave comments. We now send them instructions. It would be nice if there was a little tutorial at the beginning.

simple and effective

Comentarios: We found Review Studio to be the easiest way to quickly discuss visual information over the distance.
Talking to remote clients or coworkers on a phone and being able to control and markup the presentation from both (or multiple) sides in one session won several projects for us. :-)
Very solid tool!

ReviewStudio is a sophisticated tool, but intuitive and easy to use by anybody on all platforms and screens. Sometimes we use it as an emergency solution when other methods of collaboration fail. To setup a review takes just a few seconds and you can share it via url link.

Contras:

I miss ability to place a text and not to be able to move comment markers in different position (sometime they obscure the view).

Good simple to use review platform

Comentarios: Our client likes that we offer an online review platform and this adds value to our products and we feel it helps keep better track of changes and feedback.

Puntos a favor:

We like how easy it is to add image and video feedback also refine the feedback with attachments, links and further comments. The latest additions of client and project based organisation is also a very nice feature. Most of our clients take to the software very easily and have used the features of the platform on projects.

Contras:

The software still feels a bit 'young' and we have experienced a few bugs particularly on mobile devices and browsers like Firefox. But we are confident these niggles will be ironed out as the development continues.

Stop sharing files and pull feedback together at one place

Comentarios: After introduction the review studio which was accepted by the whole team immediately our efficacy has increased significantly. We have set up an electronic approval workflow.

Comentarios: Review Studio enables us to retain clients. It's really useful for large projects where lots of people are involved.

Puntos a favor:

I like that you can keep all the client's revisions in one place, compare them and add other people to comment. It's very collaborative and makes jobs a lot easier to track.

Contras:

Some of the tools are a little small and it doesn't jump to a comment when you press on the number, which means you have to search around the page for the number.

ReviewStudio Software Review

Comentarios: We love it, use it every week. Cant imagine doing reviews without it.

Puntos a favor:

Effectiveness and efficiency. Easy to use and makes remote reviews so much easier.

Contras:

Very few, it would be nice to see the timecode in the email messages that go out when a comment is left on a video, but you can just click the link to see it. My guess is the team is working on adding that. They are very responsive to any feature requests.
