Revolutionary for rental and activities business model
Comentarios: Superb support and reaction time for problems. I have never experienced such a great attitude towards users from support people.
Puntos a favor:
Flexibility, ease of use, integrated payment options, broad scope that can be used to make all our activities, rental products, tickets, etc. products available for online booking
Contras:
Rentle is still under development so there are many things missing but all the essentials are there to make the business roll. Rentle is developing new features in a rapid phase so the features missing now, might be there tomorrow.

Review on Rental
Comentarios: It's a great platform that makes renting items easy to do for businesses. I would love to have credit card on file added, and to be able to negotiate rates.

Contras:
Cost per transaction could be lower. I would rather pay a flat rate, vs paying a % per order. I would ideally like to have the ordering processing fees to be sub 4% for stripe and rentle combined, and will explore alternate payment options to see if there is a way we can get there. Paying close to $600 per 10k in sales is too much.

Unfortunately, we cannot lower our commission fees, as only a part of it goes towards our development and maintenance, while the rest goes to the payment processor. As your business is scaling up, it might be beneficial to switch to another plan — the difference in transaction rates oftentimes covers the price increase — for example BUILD would bring your commissions to a sub-4% level (+$0.30 per transaction). Helped us get started, but not a long term solution
Comentarios: Fast to get started. Great to be able to get basic functionality online in less than a day. Support has been good. But ultimately lack or pricing flexibility, payment provider limitations and costs. and inventory management limitations make this a short term solution for us.

Fast to set up and use. Low learning curve. Works well for what it is.
Contras:
Extremely limited pricing capabilities. Can't set different prices for different times of year or day.of week. This has cost us thousands in lost revenue. Can't take a boat out of service for scheduled time (routine maintenance). Boat is either in service or out of service and Can't for example take it out of inventory for Tue and Wed without blocking it for the entire future. Have to resort to work arounds like fake bookings. Rentle adds an additional surcharge on top of Stripe fees, which are already high. Can't select my own payment processor. Reporting is extremely limited.

Saves a fortune on web developer fees!!
Comentarios: We now have a really smart looking online booking system, which is really easy to change and edit, and has lead to a lot of our customers booking online who might have otherwise booked with a competitor.

We found it really easy and straightforward to set up and customize. We had toyed with the idea of getting a web design company to build a booking system for our website, but decided it wouldn't be worth the cost. We then found Rentle which seems to be custom made for the hire industry, and found it very straight forward. Setting up the listings for each product takes a minute or two, and other customisation features are also very straight forward.
Contras:
They are currently working on putting in more customisation features like background colour, which is something we would be very interested as we would like to make our store more like our website in terms of colour themes. We were also disappointed with not having telephone support, but as they are in a different time zone to a lot of their customers, I can see why its impractical. They do answer the messages and emails within an hour or two though, and can generally give you a full answer without the need for a load of back and forth.

Very modern and easy to use

Everything works as it should! The interface is very easy to use, totally intuitive for customers. It was very fast to get our catalog up and running.
Contras:
A couple of missing features are the ability to add custom fields to items, and charging for add-ons or rental extensions through Stripe.

A solid platform for renting and selling
Comentarios: Rentle has not only allowed me to start up my particularly niche business - it has made the process easy and streamlined. Customer service is also probably the finest I've dealt with.

Rentle was one of the few services that allowed me to sell and rent products. Rentle achieves this in a simple manner providing the customer with a smooth experience. The rentle store can be embedded into an existing website or be attached to a custom domain to keep branding and the customer experience streamlined.
Contras:
Customisation of the store front is currently very limited - this however is due to be improved on.

Functional software for our rental business

The inventory management, pricing (free rental) is very suitable for our non-profit activity. I have not found any other product that does this so well

A lot of the customisable features are only available in the premium subscriptions, but the pricing still seems fair.

My dayjob is as a systems development manager for a large PLC and I've never come across a piece of software that does inventory management, order management and dynamic delivery capability all in one solution.
Contras:
I'd like more branding possibilities. As more people start using the software i think it becomes obvious that the website is built on a tool, that soon enough, everybody will start using.

Great out of the box rental ecommerce platform

Easy to use, great storefront UX/UI, most needed features are there, fantastic customer support
Contras:
Inventory management tools could be more robust - for example customisation of availability periods for products would be great. This has already been improved a bit during the time we've been using the product and there seems to be more on the roadmap, which is great.

Truly free to use
Comentarios: Overall, I’ve found it easy to use but lacks a few abilities, like site customization.

The ease of use is outstanding. I can add products in just a few clicks. Adding details is effortless and not overly burdensome or tedious. The features that are included in the free version are sufficient to get you started. For businesses that are below a certain threshold in monthly sales can see their monthly fee cut to to help business owners out that much more.
Contras:
While there are many features that will help you getting your business up and going, there is no customization options when it comes to the look and feel of your online store. I have yet to find any. It’s all black text on a white background.

Rentle the near perfect rental tool

With a great user interface, which matches our expectations and standards as a business. Rich in features simple to use. Great customer support. Always willing to listen to feedback and improve.
Contras:
It doesn't offer built-in integration for follow-up emails please leave us a review etc. Which for us is essential and I am sure many others.

Own experience - bike rentals but in winter more rental activities to customers

Good software and development work is continuing so in future software is more diverse and give more possibilities to end users and to customers.
Customer service is perfect!

The base elements was already made and product (software) was ready to use when we started. Nice and clear operating system, App for users, automatic payments etc. This product is still under development and it is nice to be "involved partly to development brainstorming". If we have some ideas or needs for new functions to system, quite often we also get these.
Contras:
We need more filters for functionality what is specified or focused to some special end users ---- like for skiing centers (shoe size, age of customer etc). We can easily live with these functions but these are extra for us. Of course for example skiing centers can have own opinions what is necessary for them and what is not.

Rentle, very good tool to manage my kayak renting activity
Comentarios: I'm glad I found Rentle to manage my business! The interface is very nice, both on the user side and the administrator side. I recommend this service to all kayak renters like me !

Rentle has allowed me to manage kayak rentals for my business. The software was able to take into account my needs such as counting the inventory of kayaks that I rent out. The backend is also very intuitive and allows me to manage very easily
Contras:
I would like to be able to send sms to my customers to confirm their reservation. Moreover, I would have liked to have information on how to send an automatic email with all the information that the clients might need before participating in the activity (clothes to take, accepted means of payment...)

Great renting system

One of the biggest pros and one of the things other systems did not do good enough is the design. As a design company this was very important to us.
Contras:
Our company did not have any big issues with Rentle. All the smaller issues we had were quickly solved by the support team.

Easy to use in a small business

Rentle is easy to use for all of our staff. It fits best for a small business who doesn't have tens of daily reservations.
Contras:
Sometimes I hope to see more details of all reservations at the same time, same page. And also the amount of equipments on the stock for the rest of the day
