Excellent dashboard with brilliant functionality and ability to personalise each and every element, great for keeping our whole team aware of keep metrics and messages from wherever they are working

Contras:

Sometimes it is difficult to navigate the size of the boxes but the team at Geckoboard gave already been on hand to help in anyway that they can

Geckoboard simplifies what we need

Comentarios: Fantastic, they do not push hard on the sales front and support you right the way through. It's a great product, company and team.

Puntos a favor:

Ease of use, the ability to integrate with our other tools.

Contras:

Nothing. I spent time searching for a tool like this, and no one could do what I wanted, and then I found Geckoboard - easy with a great team.

It was good few years ago but now its fading away with higher monthly charges

Comentarios: I used them for few years and it was serving the purpose for me, showing analytics on big screen TV in our ecommerce command center. Out of nowhere, my billing department got an email on May 12th saying , we will change your monthly fee from $59 to minimum of $149 and I was given the option to cancel the subscription completely . I was a legacy customer and I was paying $59 per month for 35 dashboards. now 10 dashboard is going to be $149 and 30+ dashboard will be somewhere between $300 to $500 probably. I am not against price increases and I think healthy businesses should do this overtime to makeup for the inflation and increased cost. But I certainly dont appreciate it when you raise prices suddenly with a short notice, specially for customers who have been on your platform for many years. I signed up back in 2018 when your dashboards only had 2 colors . I feel like I need to get out of this platform now, as I dont think their platform is worth few hundreds a month. I wish they had increased their prices over time so we didnt have to migrate our command center elsewhere within few weeks.

I can show my operational data to my team members and users in almost real time. It was great to show the unshipped orders, orders with problems and so on. customization was not that hard on basic data reporting.

Contras:

Sudden price increases which just happened for us. Data connectors are limited , they add new ones but not useful for us. they got rid of the iphone app too which was a big disappointment. refreshing takes a long time specially if you use salesforce reports/data. Text on tiles is very small, not the best solution if you want to show the numbers on large TVs. You can make the text Bold but that's pretty much it. We used our dashboard TV within 15ft away from our desk, so it was OK when we were sitting right Infront of TVs.

The Software for Sharing Live Data with all Employees

Comentarios: The overall experience using this software within our business has been quite a positive experience which resulted in cost savings for our business as well as having employees that feel more included.

Puntos a favor:

The reason why we decided to implement Geckoboard was due to the difficulties we were facing to share all data with all employees. Geckoboard has helped our business in keeping all employees up to data with all latest data from all employees. The software is very user friendly and one does not need to be very knowledgeable on software operating. Dashboard can be adjusted to your needs which is very effective.

Contras:

The only small issues faced were some error pop-ups which we encountered during the first few months of the implementation but it has now been a while since such an error popped up so it might have been resolved.

Culture setting and visual pleasure

Comentarios: Loving the software and it has bolstered company cukturebinbthebsmese that sales are seeing healthy competition. Production team is able to see their utilization and over productivity is on the up because everyone can see what is happening with their KPI live.

Puntos a favor:

Visual allows the company to see love data and company movements.

Contras:

Images are a little complicated to add and needs custom built creatives. Would be amazing if there were pre built templates to connect and simply add a photo etc.

A cool looking dashboard creator

Comentarios: Mostly good.

Puntos a favor:

Definitely how the dashboards look. The information can be seen in a compelling way, which is super important considering that sometimes you need to communicate hard to understand KPIs. Dashboards are easy to create and deploy, there are some very pretty prebuilt ones. Another positive thing is how the Geckoboard Team constantly adds new data sources to increase compatibility.

Contras:

When I was using it, the integration with Google Analytics was relatively limited, unfortunately, I needed to add a calculated metric on the dashboard and Geckoboard didn't allow me to do it.

Simplicity is Geckoboard's best feature.

Comentarios: Very good, easy to use, and informative, it definitely gets its audience with multiple screens you can display in one place and change regularly if you are running out of space for tiles. We use it in our call centre to let the agents know about the daily performances of the teams and alert them if there are call and email backlogs. You can manipulate the colors of the tiles so if there is a problem, you see the tiles chaning the colours to red if too many calls waiting for example.

Puntos a favor:

Its simplicity and no hassle whatsoever to set it up.

Contras:

So much data and always not enough space to show everything, but I guess, that would be in any other similar software. Refreshing screens only every 30 seconds might be for some not enough.

Not being able to label correctly. For example, longer labels get cut off if the widget is not big enough

We have this up on a large screen in each of our offices and every minute of every day you can see exactly where you are against your targets. All staff from Sales reps to dispatchers were motivated by this and we saw an immediate impact on our sales figures and awareness in the team!

Contras:

We would like this to be able to connect to other systems that we use currently without having to go through API connections as we are not very technologically minded!

Data decisions booster, great for startups

Puntos a favor:

Simple, straightforward, easy to use data visualization tool worth the money. Great looking widgets make it simple to keep track of anything you need. With refresh rate of 3 minutes you cannot miss a thing.

Contras:

The tool comes with limited functionality that will grow in the future I believe. Dashboards could be a little more spacious to allow even more data to be displayed.

Dashboard for my mid-size company

Puntos a favor:

- Easy to use data orchestration tool- Easy to define goals/KPIs used by the whole leadership team and ppl- Nice analytics dashboard (understandable data points)

Contras:

- At some point it's not sophisticated enough - if you organisation gets bigger, it's hard to have everybody around it and set the goals/orchestrate them/connect with all the data points. You will need something custom-made.

Comentarios: The Support team are brilliant and was happy to chat about my use cases and how I might achieve them. the Sales team did all they could to accommodate my set up and requests.

Puntos a favor:

Integration with the existing software stack was dead easy, We needed a way of sharing dashboards across our multi-national teams and Geckoboard did just that!

Contras:

Some elements of the existing integrations could be expanded. for example, the Hubspot integration is geared toward sales KPIs rather than Service. The font size on the dashboard is a default size, be great if you could change this

Peace of mind for Customer Support leads!

As a Customer Support lead, Geckoboard has helped me keep an eye on our metrics and quickly recognize when things are going well or not great. Their integration with Slack is life-changing! It helps us make sure were are on track with our OKRs. Our Geckoboard dashboards are a huge part of our daily life. I can't recommend it enough!! Also, their support team is STELLAR! ⭐️

Contras:

I feel like there are some small quality of live features that are missing, but nothing that's a deal breaker.

5-minute setup, but needs more filters

Comentarios: If you have TVs or monitors on your wall, you've already made an investment to get data in front of your team. Geckoboard is a great way to do this. It isn't perfect yet, but is still the easiest tool I've used to get data up quickly.

Puntos a favor:

Geckoboard was amazingly easy and fast to setup. We've had monitors in our office for years, but never fully utilized them. Geckoboard provided a very easy and fast way to get our data set up. It pulls from the other softwares we're using (Hubspot, Zendesk, Google Doc, etc.) and displays the information in a great format.

Contras:

You're limited to pre-determined fields of data that you an display without much editing (e.g. you can only display data points that Geckoboard has set up). The ability to edit what is being displayed is also limited, depending on the data point. I've also had an issue with knowing the timeframe of the data. For example, we display the % of inbound support calls answered under 40 seconds. I'm unable to define the date/time range (7 AM - 7 PM, last 24-hours, etc.)

Great for Tracking Weekly and Quarterly Sales

Comentarios: We have been displaying our daily and weekly sales data.

Puntos a favor:

We are able to customize our salesforce reports and display the reports on our screens throughout the hospital.

Contras:

Sometimes there is a bit of a lag between refreshes on the data on the board but I dont think its too sizeable.

Geckoboard is the best dashboard tool, let alone cloud base software , I've ever used!

Puntos a favor:

No training needed. No reading manuals needed. The ease of use and intuitiveness of this platform is untouched by most software's out there. The out of box integrations with Zendesk, Salesforce is incredibly valuable for us and is the exact data we were looking for. The customer support is extremely helpful and friendly. They are constantly adding more addons and upgrading their current ones. Overall, you can setup very clean and professional dashboards with Geckoboard in a matter of minutes.

Nice one stop solution for dashboard metrics

Puntos a favor:

Geckoboard has a variety of really nice integrations with third party products. Most SaaS solutions you would be interested in tracking have integrations which makes it pretty easy to get going with displaying relevant metrics. The website interface is also pretty easy to use and you can get a dashboard together pretty quickly.

Contras:

The interface for getting custom metrics uploaded could be a bit easier to use but overall it is a good solution and not bad to get started with it!

Love the UI/UX

Puntos a favor:

UI/UX is pretty good, which is a good thing as I use this product everyday to display critical KPIS to everyone on a screen.

Contras:

The custom widgets are pretty hard to communicate with - need custom endpoints. Plus it misses pie charts.

Great dashboard tool!

Comentarios: We have been using Geckoboard to track the key metrics for our platform since early this year. We tried out a few different platforms before we settled on Geckoboard. We plan to continue using Geckoboard for a long time. Not to mention the improvement the dashboard has brought to our operations by focusing us on our key numbers in real time and having them available on the office wall and wherever our team is located around the world.

Puntos a favor:

Gecko was extremely easy to get set up on and start seeing real data immediately. The interface looks great and the cost is reasonable. It's accessible from anywhere and easy to share results.

Contras:

Most of the integrations are very easy to set up but you do need some developer time to pull internal data, which shouldn't really come as a surprise.

Love it, can't imagine life without it now.

Very flexible, provides visible realtime KPIs and MI that motivates the team. Geckoboard has helped us improve service delivery tenfold through simply being able to see exactly how we are doing.
