Comentarios: See less, it’s like the solution has integrated well and forms part of our day to day operating model.

Puntos a favor:

I think the best element of this product is that’s it very versatile as it allows you to design it around your current operation. Also the team are constantly releasing useful updates, some of which make life a little easier and some offer productivity gains.

Contras:

There nothing really that’s bad here, any elements that were hare to navigate are constantly being updated to make them as user friendly as possible.

Big change for a commercial gas company

Comentarios: Overall I am happy with BigChange but would like to see some more quality of life updates such as better sorting and filters or the ability to put additional group jobs inside group jobs so that multiple return visits in one group can be logged together which still keeping it within the initial jobs group

Big Change enables us to mange 80% of our day to day work in one place, from quoting, running jobs and chasing parts with suppliers as well as integrating slightly with Xero. They are constantly doing updates, some of which have been instrumental to our use of it.

Contras:

It is not tailored for our particular companies needs. Multiple day jobs have to be logged as seperate events which can add a lot of extra reports being filled in by engineers or a lo of extra admin in the back office.Also the asset management for sites is very clunky and requires every asset to be added including serial number, make and model etc, which is great for small sites but where we have over 600 sites, with some sites having very old equipment which does not have clear details, or might have 30+ assets with different serial numbers it makes it incredibly impractical to use.

Avoid, save your money and find an alternative software

Comentarios: AVOID, do not use this company. The software is awful, isn't very user friendly and is basically a glorified tracking system. The salesman was very pushy and tried to arrange several meetings with us for a demonstration, which we declined on several occasions but he wouldn't give up so we agreed to have a demonstration, he made the system look great on the demo version which is all populated but in reality it would take years to input that much data. After the demonstration we was given a contract to sign and felt very hassled into signing. We reluctantly signed but didn't set the system up for a few months as we just didn't have the time to spends hours and hours inputting data. I contacted Big Change and said we had changed our mind and wished to cancel the contract, we were told we couldn't cancel and was sent a County Court Judgement for £50,000 and had to pay an additional £4,000 in court fees. We decided to carry on with the contract as seen as we had no choice and was paying for it anyway and I can honestly say it is the worst software I have ever used, very little help or support offered and they blame the customer, you would literally need to employ a full time member of staff to input all the data they expect from you. We have asked several members of our staff to have a go with the software and everyone has reported the same, awful!

Comentarios: Brilliant, don't have many issues, if we do they're sorted or we are shown how to sort them. Downtime is minimal.

User friendly and customizable to fit our operation and we can always find a way to do something using the system, you just have to be a creative problem solver!

Contras:

mobile app for the admin side could do with being developed, or a more mobile friendly version for quick changes on the move.

Comentarios: Overall i feel Big Change is more than suitable for the Fire & Security industry, and includes all the features necessary to running the administrations, jobs, employees and customers.

Puntos a favor:

Since fully implementing Big Change, we have found the system generally easy to use, and popular with the field engineers. My favorite features of the system is the Job Management/Scheduling, the Tracking feature and how that links in with the scheduling diary.

Contras:

A lot of work has to go into setting the system up and importing information, but i guess this goes for any CRM. I'm not keen on the Stock & Equipment setup and feel this could be improved.

A comprehensive job management platform

Comentarios: Our overall experience has been good, and much of this is down to the people at BigChange, whom I have to say are always a pleasure to deal with. From the “Roadcrew” help desk to senior managers and developers, everyone is always happy to interact with customers directly.

Puntos a favor:

BigChange has a friendly and appealing interface that is easy to navigate. Fleet management and tracking is easy and comes with a mobile app that allows you to keep an eye on your assets on the move. Scheduling a job is easy and being able to see live progress on any job is very useful.

Contras:

As with many comprehensive packages they didn’t start out that way meaning they have grown arms and legs as time has gone by. This can mean that as more aspects of your business gets integrated with the system some areas fall short in terms of features or functionality, especially if your industry is part of a smaller customer base. For example, many of your personnel’s information is needed to the point that the system becomes a natural HR hub or platform, but permissions are either too much or too little to keep this information withheld enough from other staff in some cases. Separately, in a world where much job planning is done months in advance, only being able to see 28 days worth of jobs on the tablets is frustrating, especially when technicians are trying to book holidays. The system has so much to offer that inevitably many will pay for functionality they simply don’t need. A 500mb data allowance per tablet per month is virtually impossible to stay within on a platform that encourages plenty of photo taking as part of workflows - this results in high excess data charges…a very painful and unneeded extra cost.

Big change, Big easy.

Comentarios: Brilliant support provided quickly. It's fast, efficient and easy to use.

Ease of use, job scheduling is fast, easy and simple. Worksheets can be created to suit job categories and business needs. Fleet management provides reminders when vehicle maintenance is due and daily reports via vehicle checks. Expenses can be attached to work orders in order to set the correct costs for invoicing clients. Vehicle tracking and reporting, financial reports, it's all there in one place.

Contras:

As our business grows, I'm sure there will be additional features we will come across that would be beneficial but so far I can't say there is anything we don't like. Perhaps the process of adding new resources could be slightly easier.

Service & Maintenance company using BigChange for all aspects

The ability to collective store information between both customers, jobs & resources also for a service company has allowed us to have everything available within a couple of clicks. Doing this allows us to keep a live up to date paper trail that anyone in the business can get information from.

Contras:

At times some adjustments & changes are often discussed and then taking in excess of a year.Additionally there are a few things which might seem like a minor tweak but could often requires hours of back and forth. Sometimes some factors of Job Watch are very binary and sometimes require some further flexibility.

Scheduling, quoting, vehicle tracking functions and word templates. Also reports, automation and central access of information available to all back office users. The tablets are get for mobile workforce and easy to use; makes paperwork and filing easy and efficient to manage, syncing all information instantly and traceable.

Contras:

It is a complex system, you need to build up and invest time to explore, setup and implement - overcoming challenges until you get it right and it works for you/ company, that period can be stressful. Also in house for training users is demanding. Stock module could be improved, enabling stock usage deducted from stock holding without manual process.

Excellent customer service and support, but some technical limitations around integration

Comentarios: The people side is great, everyone is helpful and knowledgeable, there are some annoyances on a technical level around integration and reporting - escalated tickets take too long to resolve.

The onboarding and customer service is great. First line support are excellent and it's refreshing to find a company that you call and easily get through to a real person that can resolve problems. The availability of the APIs is generally better than the alternatives.

Contras:

The reports are not good and not well thought out when compared to competitors, exporting is difficult or not available for some reports and there are no options for the automation of report exports for integration.

The system sometimes doesn't flow very easily at times, many clicks to get from A to B at times.

Comentarios: Implementation with the on boarding team has been fantastic, they have been extremely helpful. Any issue that occur are quickly resolved with roadcrew who are extremely helpful

Previously we had to use several systems to run our sales team, service department and accounts. This can now all be done as one and each department has access to the whole system. Being able to see what customers have on hire without asking other departments has been key for our sales team. The quick access to service quotes allows the team to function more efficiently and effectively. Glad we made the decision to change

Contras:

Some of the reporting could be improved with the likes of power bi. This would enable management teams to create their own purpose built reports

Easy to Learn

Comentarios: Tracking or engineers and adding jobs to the planner has been one of the most beneficial part of this system for us. PO and Quotation Forms are extremely helpful and being able to link every document to their relevant job saves a lot of human error.

Big Change is really easy to use. Simple and effective training made it easy to learn this new system.

Contras:

When first transferring to Big Change, integration with our existing software did prove difficult. After some getting used to and extra training we use Big Change to the best of our ability.

Comentarios: Ultimate visibility of the field resources in live time, looking to achieve better productivity nationwide through better resource management and planning.

The software is packed with features which help our day to day function. having vehicle tracking, shedulling, planning and electronic job cards/delivery notes, sales leads and CRM tools all in one place. Instant job status through the schedule tab means we can e the status of each job and each resource.

Good CRM System

We like the fact that we can monitor our engineers out on the road and can quickly receive their job sheets electronically without the concern of lost paperwork.

Contras:

The site tends to freeze regularly. I did mention this to a member of staff and they said it was down to google. When google is working as it should but The Big Change is the only thing that is freezing.

Comentarios: Good, efficiency has improved and we are better able to monitor our engineers. The invoicing is easier as well as the tablets being beneficial for reports.

Puntos a favor:

The tracking on vehicles and that we get the reports live as opposed to on paper.

Contras:

It can be slow and is not always specific for our industry, (plumbing). It is not effective for our accounts and they are concerned about using it for Sage. Some basic features are missing such as: credits against jobs.

Work made easier.

Comentarios: This software lends itself to so many different types of businesses, simply because the the customer services crew are so knowledgeable. They are helpful and always listen carefully to you. I can not fault them.

Being able to create a customer record and all the information at your finger tips. Jobs, bookings, equipment, documents, notes and the ability to FLAG items that need a follow up. Alerts can also be set up for so many things it helps keep everyone focused on weekly updates or even quarterly tasks to be completed. There are so many helpful options available.

Contras:

It has so many options, alerts, flags, notes, noteflags and reporting facilities it takes a while to try them all. This is a blessing and a curse. Once a working process is in place it is definitely a blessing.

Comentarios: Big Change Job Watch has enabled us as a company to run more efficiently and the customer service side of the business has been very helpful.

Puntos a favor:

The process of setting up the software was much easier than expected and using the system to match our existing work sheets and procedures was very easy to do. The system allowing us to see everything as it is happening has had a massive impact on our business. We can now invoice quicker because we can see straight away if a job has been completed without having to make phone calls to our operatives. Getting live data from vehicles has allowed us to track mileage much easier and help us monitor our vehicles much more efficiently. The planner allows you see if the work you are giving your operatives is realistic.

Contras:

On the fleet section it gives you columns for when Services, Mot, tax etc are due, but we are unable to add to this column, we have other things for our vehicles that we need to book in but we have to keep track of this another way off the system.

Customer Survey

Comentarios: All our problems are almost always resolved in a very quick time, if they are not communication from the Support Team is excellent by either a follow up email or a call.

Puntos a favor:

We have a large mixed culture of drivers who can sometimes find it a struggle to understand basic English, the Samsung tablet is easy to operate and the step by step instructions makes this easier for all to follow. We have a good team of office based staff here that can go into the program and make basic changes to assist our business and drivers without having to always contact the BigChange support team.

Contras:

Network sometimes freezes causing the delivery crews to have to use their own mobile devices for navigation, this does not happen on a regular basis. Up to date Sat Nav information can sometimes be delayed causing navigation problems for the drivers, again this is not a regular occurrence. We struggle to download and view dash cam footage as we may not be able to access the SD card for a couple of days and when we do the data is not on the card.

everything is very clear and modern, Our engineers and office staff all get on with it very well. Didn't take us long to catch on to how everything works, and there is never ending possibilities to grow your company through big change.

Contras:

I can't think of much, but recently I was having an error with one of our handover warranty contract quotation templates, which meant I couldn't send these to our customers for a while. I raised this a fair few times and they asked me to do certain things to make this work. It would work then for about 2 weeks and it then starts happening again repeatedly . I then brought this up to [sensitive content hidden] as something needed to be sorted, he then fixed this issue with me easily enough, but hopefully this doesn't happen again.

Comentarios: Overall experience is good, it really has helped our administration of the way we work as a company. I believe that with the introduction of Big Change that we have reduced our administration needs and as saved the employment of 1 x person required, which has been important as we grow as a company.

Puntos a favor:

This is a really easy system to use, you can design to meet your company needs for policies, procedures, health & safety. You can manage the system yourself, you do not need software engineers to design your worksheets this can all be done in house

Contras:

There is a big opportunity to increase a HR facility. We currently pay for HR Access for our HR needs, when we could run just one system but improvements need to be made. the message system could do with having the ability to add an attachment and the text amount increased. A URL (as requested by me as a development request) to the notes section.

Comentarios: In general very positive, it's a simple easy to use system that does what it says on the tin.

Puntos a favor:

Layout of the screens, ease of use and the ability to free type in different fields and to upload photos and documents to capture relevant information, which can then be shared with the engineering teams.

Contras:

effective reporting is an issues for us, there isn't the functionality to easily capture jobs by type. the amount of data that is produced is enormous and filtering manually is too time consuming.
