Comentarios: - My impression is that SAP Ariba Represent the best solution of Suppliers Management, The software cover all the Suppliers needed Data ( Registration, Qualification, Performance, Pre-Risk Assessment).

Puntos a favor:

- Evaluate risks in the Supplier´s value chain in the following areas: a. Quality Management, b. Sustainability and integrity, c. Health / Safety / Environmental, d. Quality and Continuous Improvement, e. Operation Excellence and Supply Chain, f. Data Security - Supports the process for conducting a financial health review of the supplier. - Be efficient through the sharing of supplier qualification status and risk mitigation actions across the company

Contras:

- Prompt Assistance is needed form the support Team is needed especially on assisting the supplier who has troubles with registration in SAP Ariba.

SAP Ariba- the best Procurement automation tool you can have

Comentarios: Overall, its a great tool to solve all our 3rd party vendor communications. Though it may have a few downsides but still better in the industry.

Puntos a favor:

a. Effective lifecycle design for all procurements needs b. The comprehensive capability of encompassing every activity involved in procurement from pre-PO to vendor selection c. Excellent integration with inhouse tools for quick payment processing d. Safe and secure authorization/single sign-in methodology

Contras:

Very slow operations and the UI/UX is difficult to understand, need to put a lot of time to learn, feels outdated. There a bit issues in adding many 3rd party contractors. The capacity needs to be increased.

best finance e-invoicing tool for fast process

Comentarios: SAP Ariba is one of the best tools in the SAP ecosystem. We can raise invoices in just a few minutes; we dont have to make long manual calculations, collect the physical invoices, or have to go to different departments for signings, approvals and stamps; we just have to raise invoice, it will be directly transfered ot to the concerned person, the person will approve the invoice, then will go to the next department as per the company defined flow and at last to the finance team which will approve and relase the payment, it reduced aoverall manual efforts of invoicg, you don't have to create physical files for keeping invoices, maintaining big records, all done easily in one go

Puntos a favor:

one of the best tools of already using any tool from SAP in your organization; it's mainly used for e-invoicing, payment approval, and processing. You dont have to raise physical invoices; just raise the invoice in ariba, it will go to the assigned person. After approval, go to the finance team, and then the payments will be released.

Contras:

Nothing to dislike; the finest tool for e-invoicing

This ERP system does offer GUI. The systemis easy to use as compared to SAP previous versions.

Contras:

There is a limit of 100 MB for each file that can be uploaded. If the file size is more then 100MB then this system will not accept it.

Software and hardware upgrades.

Comentarios: We replaced most of our research and development equipment 1 year ago, because we need to be constantly updated to be a successful company.
SAP Ariba was the tool we chose to manage the renovation projects to equip the labs in our departments with computers, graphics cards, and virtual reality equipment, helping us to identify suppliers and hardware manufacturers, request quotes, and evaluate the best options according to the standards set by our experts.
It is a well-structured platform with features that facilitate the entire purchasing process.

Puntos a favor:

The interface is well designed and although it can be a bit complex and intimidating at first, it is a nice tool that allows for orderly and agile work. It helped us to manage all the necessary renovations to get up to date with the technology, allowing us to search for suppliers to compare specifications and prices. It helped us to ask for quotes and then choose based on concrete data. It allowed us to purchase software and negotiate licenses for our technicians and engineers.

Contras:

Implementation and maintenance costs are high, in addition to customization and configuration costs.

Do not recommend

Comentarios: Honestly i would give it like a 2 on a 1 to 10 scale... i really do not recommend

Puntos a favor:

There wasnt really a whole lot of good things to say about sap, but it did have one function that was nice it gave you the option to edit your timesheets

Contras:

It was crashing all the time, kicking us out an not letting us back in. Always said our login creds were wrong etc.

Sehr schlechte und langsame Einkaufsplattform

Comentarios: sehr mühsam, der Support muss unbedingt was ändern--> man bekommt immer antworten die mit dem eigentliche Problem nichts zu tun haben. Auch die Hilfeseiten bieten eigentlich so gut wie nie einen brauchbaren Lösungsansatz. richtige Techniker gibt es im Support anscheinend nicht

Übersicht, Leichtes hinzufügen von Kunden

Contras:

sehr langsam, seiten müssen immer wieder aktualisiert werden, man kann keine mehreren Tabs aufmachen, Der SUPPORT ist eine Frechheit(ich habe noch nie so schlechten Support erhalten)

Comentarios: Access to clients in SAP Ariba is great, having everything in one platform is a huge win as well.

Everything is in one place and not spread across multiple platforms.

Contras:

The functionality is not where it should be. As a new user it is hard to navigate and understand what to do.

Secure Platform But Clunky and Disappointing

Comentarios: It's clunky and slow but large corporations use it for billing so it's a must have, the fees are disappointing.

Puntos a favor:

Connects buyers and sellers in a secure environment

Contras:

Fees, clunky interface, slow to update, duplication of accounts

Preferred by road warriors for reporting expenses

Comentarios: Ariba has been my favored method of reporting work related expenses. Accounts Payable was able to easily verify expenses and reimburse employees very quickly.

Puntos a favor:

It was super easy to enter travel expenses and get reimbursed very quickly.

Contras:

As it is with any SAP product, it really depends on how well Ariba gets deployed at your organization due to the extensive customization and automation options. But after we deployed it effectively, Ariba became effortless to use.

A Practical Tool for RFPs, Though Not the Most Modern Option

Comentarios: My experience with SAP Ariba was positive. While it’s not the most modern or versatile tool, it gets the job done effectively for procurement and RFP management. It's user-friendly enough for most professionals to navigate without major issues.

SAP Ariba helped me participate effectively in RFP processes. Its functionalities are practical and straightforward, making it accessible with some common sense.

Contras:

The interface feels a bit outdated compared to more modern platforms. Additionally, there are more versatile alternatives available in the market.

Ungenügender Support für Lieferanten

Nichts. Alle Funktionen sind versteckt und in der Handhabung verkompliziert.

Contras:

Absolut unübersichtlich Ungenügender (nach Schulnoten) Support für Lieferanten Keinerlei Direktkontakt / Tickets werden nur bearbeitet wenn sich der Käufer einschaltet

Its okay but Clunky

Comentarios: Its okay and better than an inhouse solution.

Puntos a favor:

It keeps everything organized very well.

Contras:

It is a little bit clunky in terms of the desktop web based version. I dont want to log in - I should be able to just add comments via email reply vs having to login each time.

Provides cloud-based procurement and learners would need a basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management

nothing, overall i like everything about SAP ARIBA

SAP Ariba is the NOT user-friendly and archaic in complexity

Comentarios: Very very poor! Clearly the Gartner and other ratings are dishonest and solicited by bribes

Process automation but its clumsiness is disconcerting and makes it a grudge-tool to use

Contras:

The archaic workflows and nonsensical messaging and statuses drives the users insane!

Comentarios: Overall good experience, software could use an upgrade

It's a bit confusing, there are sometimes many options

Stay away

Comentarios: worst system ever. System is broken. It is breaking people in my organisation.

Puntos a favor:

nothing - everything in the system that I've used is broken. I've had a different problem with every PO I've created.

Contras:

This is the worst software system I've ever encountered and I worked in government for 15 years. It is constantly crashing, the team buying function doesn't work, the system can't cope with changes to POs after they have initially been created. E.g. I want to break 1 payment into multiple at a later date - the system can't deal with this and now I'm left with cranky vendors who can't get their invoice paid. I manage over 30 contracts which are all multi-year. I can't get my colleagues access such that if I'm on leave they can't pay invoices for me. Some POs I've created never got sent to the vendor, even though other POs have gone. There are so many bugs in this system. Stay away from it if you are a large, complex organisation.
